This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Justin Petynia who was born in Miami, Florida at North Shore Hospital on June 22, 1982 and passed away in Homestead, Florida on May 04, 2009 at the age of 26. We will remember him forever.

Justin lived life to the fullest. In fact, Justin was considered by his mother, Sharon, to be her "wild child". She always said she would never want to break his spirit, she would just like to tame it a little! Anyone who knew Justin well enough would understand this!

He enjoyed diving, fishing, and hunting. He had a passion for nature, the outdoors, and animals.

Justin was loved by his family and many friends. He loved his family and his son, Mikey, very much. He was thoughtful of others and always affectionate and loveable.

Michael Tomas Puentes - Justin's Son
Mikey was the love of Justin's life! Andrea Puentes, Mikey's mother, gave birth to their beautiful son on September 17, 2002. When Justin and Mikey spent time together, Justin taught him all about his love for animals and the outdoors. Mikey learned all about snakes and got to hold lots of them. Justin especially enjoyed taking Mikey on airboat rides.
