Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

JUSTIN TIMOTHY PETYNIA

6/22/1982 - 5/4/2009

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Justin Timothy Petynia, who was born in Miami, Florida at North Shore Hospital on June 22, 1982 and passed away in Homestead, Florida on May 04, 2009 at the age of 26.

Justin lived his life each and every day to the fullest!  As his mother, Sharon knew he was her "wild child".  She always said she would never want to break his spirit . . . she did, however, wish she could tame it just a little! Anyone who really knew Justin well enough would understand this!

Diving, fishing, and hunting were Justin's favorite pasttimes.  He had a passion for nature, the outdoors, and animals.  As a child and even a young adult, Justin was always the one to rescue and convince us to adopt new pets ... dogs, snakes, iguanas, sugar gliders . . . and even a skunk at one time!  Justin's Dad, Tim, tried to say no, but he just couldn't do it!  Tim is now taking very good care of Justin's dog, Diva, who he has grown very attached to!

Justin was loved by his family and many friends. He, in return, loved his family and his son, Mikey, very much. He was one of the most thoughtful and generous guys you could ever hope to know, and he was very affectionate and loveable.

Justin will live on in our hearts and memories forever.

His legacy
Michael Tomas Puentes - Justin's Son
Mikey was the love of Justin's life!  Andrea Puentes, Mikey's mother, gave birth to their beautiful son on September 17, 2002.  When Justin and Mikey spent time together, Justin taught him all about his love for animals and the outdoors.  Mikey learned all about snakes and got to hold lots of them.  Justin especially enjoyed taking Mikey on airboat rides.
